In 2021 Darnitsa has released 12 new brands of medicines - Dmytro Shymkiv
In 2021, the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa” introduced to the market 12 new brands of medicines for treating diseases of neural and cardiovascular systems, and pain management, says the company`s press service. The new products have an approved safety profile confirmed by clinical research. Part of the products launched were created in cooperation with European pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Dmytro Shymkiv, the chairman of the Darnitsa Group Board of Directors, said that the goal of "Darnitsa" is to quickly bring new products to the market and thus make treatment accessible for the population. In the first half of 2021 the company increased investments in R&D by 10% and plans to release 25 new drugs by the end of the year. It’s important to note that 10 products will be released ahead of schedule due to digitalization of a number of processes and transition to electronic pharmaceutical document management.
Thus, in the first six months of the year, the company launched in the category of over-the-counter medical products medicines for treating acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system (Dvatse Long, Dvatse200), for eliminating symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and urticaria (Eridez-Darnitsa) and a drug to be used in complex therapy of wet cough (Ritosse® Ivy).
There are new products from a prescription portfolio addressing treatment of dementia, caused by Alzheimer disease (Memtek®), schizophrenia and bipolar disorder type I (Mintegra), and one that provides topical treatment and prevention of infectious lesions (Veromistin®).
On top of that, in summer “Darnitsa” presented a brand line Darfen®, which consists of four medications in gel, patches and oral form to fight pain and inflammation in adults and kids ages 3 months and up.
The top manager Dmytro Shymkiv recalled that during its almost a hundred year history and a period of active development in the last decades the Darnitsa Grouphas created a portfolio that includes 210 brands of medications. Currently, there are 14 GMP certified manufacturing lines working now. The Ukrainian pharmaceutical concern exports its products to 15 countries of the world. In the near future the company plans to enter markets in Asia and Latin America. The Darnitsa Group management team is intensely working now in this direction.
